Applied Kinesiology/ Clinical Kinesiology/ CPK/ Neurolink/ CRA

Kinesiology is a term that simply means movement by muscle.  The above listed terms are names of specific treatment techniques used by some Chiropractic, Osteopathic, and Medical doctors who have had advanced training and choose to specialize in what is now commonly called "Functional Medicine".  Dr. Conners has been practicing such advanced techniques for over 25 years and has taught numerous seminars for both doctors and patients.  It gives the ability to aid patients who have literally been from their local chiropractor to Mayo Clinic with little help.

Meridian Therapy

The Chinese have been practicing acupuncture for thousands of years and it is difficult to dispute its efficacy.  The philosophy of acupuncture mirrors wellness care in that they both are based on the foundation that the God who made the body instilled in it the power to heal and preserve proper function and that the dysfunction that may be experienced is due to a disturbance in the natural, God-given flow of one's own healing ability.  Acupuncture is NOT magic, 'new age', or painful.  It IS helpful in balancing the body's energy and stimulating healing.  We use a needle-less, pain-free (accupressure) approach to stimulating meridians. 

Detoxification/Healing

Tissue toxification is a huge cause of disease and if not a root cause it is present in nearly all conditions.  If you have ever heard Dr. Conners speak you will eventially breach this subject.  We utilize the most technically advanced methods to aid people through a complete cycle of healing and tools used to assist detoxification are essential.  The ION Cleanse is a foot bath ionization tool which draws toxins from the body through polar ionization.  The Light Beam Generator, TrueRife and the Beam Ray are photon, Light Frequency generators that use RIFE Technology and frequency technologies to aid in lymphatic detoxification.   

Corrective, 'Restorative' Care

Dr. Klos-Maki, Dr. Ranem, Dr. Conners and Dr. Wangerin utilize advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" Restorative techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists given the technology available to doctors today. These newer correction methods (Pettibon, CBP, Activator, Arthrostim and Integrator) are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As Doctors of Chiropractic, they have had years of training and experience in GENTLE spinal adjustment.

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Lifestyle Advice

We often find it helpful to "coach" our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Our goal is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy most. We recognize that each our patient is a whole person, and help them reach true health and wellness is a collaborate effort between our professionals and our patients. 

Nutritional Counseling

We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patient´s return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you?  The doctors will provide a structured nutritional program based on your individual needs.

It is important to note that OUR nutritional approach is MUCH different from many other doctors or nutritionists.  First, our approach is NOT cookie-cutter.  It is strictly dependent on your particular condition.  In autoimmune disorders, for example, a patient who is Th1 dominant will have a very different protocol than one who is Th2 dominant.  It gets much more specific from there.  Second, even two seemingly identical patients may require completely different nutrition.  Since we may utilize Kinesiology to test each patient, we get very specific for each individual case.
